Over a quarter century local people have donated items to our collection for safe
keeping. As a result our Local & Family History Collection contains thousands
of objects, books, photographs and archive material.

We are currently putting the collection on a computer system that will allow you to locate
people and items in seconds, this is a large job and on-going. It is not intended to put it
online, all questions and answers will be through the society. However below is a interactive
gallery where you can get an idea of the range of items "in there somewhere" so go on:
