The Pudsey Civic Society
Has delved into it's large collection of photographs to bring you a
"taste of the West Riding"
These images are mainly from days gone-by but also include
views of today's Pudsey as well
This is how it
works
The site is divided into a number of sections
(not all active at the moment...see note
**)
Simply click on the section you would like to view
this
will take to a page containing a series of small images (thumbnails)
along
with a little background history for each picture.
Click on the thumbnail picture
and you will be able to
see the photograph in more detail on your browser
If you click on the lettering below the
thumbnail,
you will receive a higher resolution version of the same
photo.
Please note this size is great fun as you can "move around the
image"
using your browser as a window, of course the download is much longer
(note the size of the file is stated)
You are free to save these images to file
for your
personal enjoyment but remember commercial use would be a breach of
copyright.

How do I become a member of
Pudsey Civic Society ?
You can join the Society at any meeting
or by sending details of full name and address on the
Membership Application
