past, present and future interests of Pudsey and its environment. "
What ever your interest, The Pudsey Civic Society will add to
your knowledge.
An annual fee entitles members to two half yearly Journals giving
details of the Society's
general activities as well as including informative
articles, photographs and sketches
on various aspects of Calverley, Farsley and
Pudsey's life and buildings, past,
present and occasionally future.

There are monthly talks during the Winter.
The Summer months bring evening walks in the neighbourhood,
generally with experienced guides passing on their knowledge of the
area.

Some members prefer to take action on life today,
vetting Local Authority planning applications, especially watchful on the
green belt areas.

For the more physical, volunteers meet once a month out in the
field, working to ensure that Public Rights of Way are clear, protected and
maintained. This project is supported by the Leeds City Council Parish
Paths Partnership.
